About the Event
Tom Elder is a North Bay, California singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist with over two decades of Folk-Rhythm’n-Jazz and indie-folk exploration. First gaining attention with his mid-2000s project Aitch, he later co-founded The Center of the Circle with Andrew Maurer, blending intricate fingerstyle guitar, lush harmonies, and fearless arrangements. Elder now performs in a trio with Kellen Eddy and Andrew Maurer, bringing vivid storytelling and eclectic instrumentation to the stage. Influenced by artists from Tom Waits and Neil Young to Little Wings and Joanna Newsom, his music draws listeners into rich, emotionally charged worlds.
