About the event

A tribute to the iconic harmonica man James Cotton. Frontman Mark Hummel has been featured on over thirty recordings, nominated for a Grammy Award and won two Blues Music Awards. He produced The Blues Harmonica Blowouts (Mayall, Musselwhite, Huey Lewis, Lee Oskar, Magic Dick) for 30 years, featuring Cotton on seven national tours. Cotton memorably commented that “Mark is all about the music”. The James Cotton Blues Band features Steve Freund (guitar), Tom Holland (guitar), Randy Bermudes (bass) and June Core (drums).
