Experience the soul and fire of true Chicago blues as The James Cotton Blues Band keeps the legend alive. Led by Grammy-nominated harmonica master Mark Hummel, the band features a powerhouse lineup of Cotton’s longtime collaborators, Steve Freund, Bob Welsh, Gary Silva, and Karl Sevareid, each a blues heavyweight in their own right.
Together, they honor the spirit of James Cotton, one of the last great harmonica titans whose career spanned over six decades alongside icons like Muddy Waters and Sonny Boy Williamson. Expect electrifying grooves, blistering solos, and a night that celebrates the golden age of the blues, live and loud at The California Theatre.
