Originally from Sacramento, CA, Marcel Smith has been a staple on the California music scene for over 40 years. His soulful vocal approach will remind you of Sam Cooke and Otis Redding rolled into one. Having shared the stage with gospel, blues, and soul royalty such as Al Green, Bobby Womack, and John Lee Hooker, Marcel attacks a song with feeling and conviction, reaching new musical heights with every note. Marcel Smith’s passion is rooted in the traditional quartet gospel styles.
