About the Event
Guitarist, producer and bandleader Steve Freund, praised by Rolling Stone for his "masterful, no-nonsense guitar work" continues to share his feeling for the blues wherever he can. A consummate piano accompanist, he's worked with with Pinetop Perkins, Jimmy Walker, Henry Gray, Erwin Helfer and many more. He also spent nine years working with harmonica legend James Cotton.
Blues Defenders hosts a weekly concert with headliners and swing dancing. Followed by Pro Jam. Doors open at 5pm Show Starts at 6pm. Tickets $12 online. $15 at door. $10 for members. Hosted by The Blues Defenders as part of our Blue Mondays series.
Our kitchen is open and serving our bar bites menu during Left Edge Friday night shows, Happy Hours and most evening concert shows from the time doors open until end of intermission.
