About the Event
Presented by Left Edge Theatre. At the MacGregor Plantation, the antebellum South collides with the present in a provocative fever dream where race, desire, gender, and power intertwine. Nothing is quite as it seems—and yet everything is.
Jeremy O. Harris’s explosive, award-winning Slave Play rips apart the boundaries between history and modern America, confronting the enduring legacy of slavery and the complex intersections of race, gender, and sexuality.
Recommended for ages 17+. Contains nudity, sexual content, simulated sexual violence, and racially violent language.
